Operating Environment

  • Max admissible temperature for conductor: 90℃ under normal running condition; 250℃ under short circuit(max. duration is 5s)
  • Min bending radius is recommended to be 20 times of cable overall diameter
    PVC sheathed cables shall not be installed if the environment temperature is below 0℃,and if it is below 0℃,the cable should be heated before the installation

Metal Sheath

  • Extra high voltage power cable with corrugated aluminum sheath can be especially suitable for the following conditions in addition to the normal ones
  • Extra high voltage power cable with corrugated aluminum sheath: places where there is not much corrosion but much requirement for mechanical strength (e.g. direct connection to transformers, laying on bridges and in vertical shafts)

Plastic Outer Sheath

  • Extra high voltage power cable with PVC outer sheath ( Type 02 ) are suitable for high voltage transmission line with general fireproof requirement and centain insulation requirement for the outer sheath
  • Extra high voltage power cable with PE outer sheath( Type 03 )are suitable for high voltage transmission line directly buried underground with higher insulation requirement on the outer sheath; and if they are laid in tunnels or vertical shafts, anti-fire and flame-retardant measures must be taken

Equipment Advantage
Frame-type Stranded RFS630-84 Bobbins is imported from Sket in Germany. The whole line is controlled by PC and operated with touch screen. The process parameters of stranding tongue and rotating speed for every Stranding Cage, line speed and tension of single wire can be set on the control screen and automatically adjusted by PC. This line is equipped with side load / unloading system to load / unloading reel. The pay-off reel is controlled by pneumatic tension.which is controlled by servo system through PC to guarantees the evenness and stability of the pay-off. When the reel weight is getting lighter,PC control program will increase the tension through tension servo system to guarantee the constant tension. The cage is also equipped with pneumatic brakes, which realizes the regeneration brake of the DC motor simultaneously through servo system. This line is mounted with roller-compacting and pre-spiraling head. The pre-spiraling torque is controlled and adjusted by PC automatically, which guarantees the evenness and stability of pre-spiraling torque on the setor block of the conductor.

Equipment Advantage
The whole line of Drum Twist Stranded DTPC3600 is controlled by PC and operated with touch screen. The process parameter of stranding lay length, speed of rotating caterpillar, line speed and payoff tension can be set on the control screen and automatically adjusted by PC. The take-up and pay-off is fork type rotating stand and equipped with hoistable platform. The payoff is equipped with guiding and brake system as well as wire-break detector, the tension for the taping head is automatically controlled and phase calibration unit is automatically adjusted.

Equipment Advantage
The principle is to adopt heat circulation control technology to force wind heating. namely to heat the air at the bottom of the degas room and then to blow the heated air into the degas room from the bottom by blower to heat the cable. The air with lower temperature is sucked back by the blower from the upper to be heated continuously. This forms the circulation of the heated wind. The hot wind shall be blown from several points to get heating evenly and to improve the efficiency. Perforate the top and connect the vacuum pump to form a negative pressure in the degas room. It is about 0.8 atmospheric pressure of negative pressure to improve the degas efficiency. The heating unit adopts PID regulator to have the linear regulating for the temperature. Several thermocouples shall be equipped in the degas room to feed back and regulate the temperature. Installation site of thermocouples: inlet/outlet of the wind, the surface of the cable cores and the space of the degas room. Every thermocouple is connected with a temperature display separately, which can implement real-time monitoring of the temperature of every place in the degas room. Alarm equipment shall be installed at the same time. The system will indicate alarms in time when any problem arises to guarantee the quality of degas.
